Today I wanted to share the greatest travel apps that I use to keep track of travel. I love using my phone to keep track of everything, and travel is no exception. Without further ado, here are the greatest travel apps.
Uber is a staple on my phone no matter where I am, but especially while traveling. In an unfamiliar environment, having a tool that you can just call a car at any given time is very helpful. In places without internet or phone access, it’s even better because you can simply find a wifi hotspot and call your uber. I have a serious love for uber, and I use it at least once a week.
TripIt is my go-to way to keep track of all of my trips. It is the easiest way to keep track of every flight, hotel and car reservation with ease. It’s also a great way to keep track of all of the sightseeing you want to do. I have loved TripIt since it first came out, and it’s been a staple since.
TravelBank is a recent find, and I love it. It enables you to input a budget for your trip, and keep track of all expenses so that you aren’t going over budget. I try to keep our spending to a minimum while we’re on vacation, and take advantage of as many free items as possible but it’s helpful to see my budget all laid out.
I love having whatever airline I’m flying withs app on my phone. It’s helpful because you can get an e-boarding pass, and also keep track of your flights status in one (usually) correct place. TripIt keeps track of the information but doesn’t have live info, so it’s definitely a good idea to have the airlines app as well.
City’s Transit App
When you’re visiting a new city, it’s a great idea to have the transit system on hand. Most of the transit systems have their own app, including schedules, and most of them even include live updates. It’s super helpful to have it at a moment’s glance, so you always know where the nearest train/bus is.
