Today I wanted to share the first in our essential road trips series. This one features our Massachusetts road trip. We’re only featuring a few cities, but they are the most popular and biggest cities that Massachusetts has to offer.
We’ll begin our journey in Boston. I could write an entire post on things you can do in Boston, but it really is a gorgeous city packed with history. Some pretty popular things to do in Boston: see the harbor, see Fenway park, walk the freedom trail, and so much more. I’ll be doing an entire post on Boston, but this is where we will begin our journey.
Salem, famous for the Salem Witch Trials, is next on our list. It’s just north of Boston, making it a great day trip or a good place to spend the night. There’s again, a ton of things to do in Salem, but the most popular is exploring the Salem witch trials and the museum associated with it.
My next suggestion is one most people will know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s the outcropping and has many prominent cities on it, such as Provincetown, Chatham and Barnstable. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking for some beach action, or even some bay action. You can also take a trip off the coast to Martha’s Vineyard, or Nantucket.
